Tony Shoesmith (Shoey), with over 35 years experience in Detroit Diesel 2 stroke engines as well as S60.
He is one of the last left in Australia building engines who truly knows Detroit 2 stroke engines.

Call Shoey, for expert troubleshooting and advice. From there, earthmoving, coaches, coal mining equipment and highway trucks he advanced to Darwin and onto Detroit powered road train equipment etc.
All leading to many years of supplying quality rebuilt engines to the trucking, having worked for Detroit In Queensland on cruise boats, marine and stationary engine markets.
Starting in his apprenticeship on earthmoving equipment in the early seventies, working on all facets of earthmoving equipment predominantly powered by Detroit diesel was an excellent start to his career.
He can now offer a limited range of Detroit engines due to time factors however in every engine he builds encompasses the knowledge and passion of Detroit Engines.
He has been out of the game for some time but is now back due to demand. (more).
